  1. Assalamu Alaikum.

Lately, my workload has increased a lot, and I feel very tired because of it. As a result, I feel lazy to make time for muraqabah or dhikr. Right now, I don’t feel motivated to do dhikr or even pray. At the same time, my screen time has increased, and I know that’s also true.

    How can I overcome this?

    1. Wa ‘alaykum as-salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

This is a common stage on the Sufi path. Don’t wait for motivation—be faithful even when your heart feels dry.

      Never leave your salah.

Do just 5 minutes of muraqabah and 2 minutes of dhikr after each salah.

Reduce your screen time a little each day.

Remember: Consistency is more valuable than intensity.

      The Sufis say:

      > “The one who remembers Allah in times of spiritual dryness is a true lover of Allah.”

May Allah renew your heart, bless your time, and grant you steadfastness on His path.

      Āmīn.
